After your baby arrives, we would like to schedule the first well child visit within 1-3 days of discharge and then at regularly scheduled intervals as your baby grows and develops from childhood through their teens. Prenatal Visit
There are few things as exciting as a new baby in the family! Prior to your baby's arrival we can schedule a prenatal visit so you can take a tour of our office and meet Dr. Ellicott. We suggest you review our office policies and "are we a good fit" to ensure we're the right baby doctor for your family. It's also helpful to complete
intake paperwork prior to delivery. Your baby will be examined by one of the experienced newborn hospitalist physicians in the hospital. When you know when you'll be discharged from the hospital, give us a call to schedule your first appointment.
Well Visits
Should you visit the pediatrician if your child is not sick? Regular well visits are an important part of preventative care for children. That's why Henrietta Pediatrics schedules regular well child visits as your child grows and develops. During these visits, your pediatrician will track your child’s development, assure they are up-to-date on any vaccinations, and review the child’s growth and care. It's also a great opportunity to ask any questions you or your child may have.
